Visitors

Lately, I've been reflecting on all of our wonderful visitors. I haven't been great about posting their visits, so here is a recap of guest for the past 3 1/2 months. Ready?

Nana and Pop Pop (Nanc and Eric) were the first to meet 2 week old Myles. They stayed the weekend and enjoyed cuddling with the little bundle.

Aunt Ramona came next. She just had to get here to meet Myles. She celebrated Valentines Day with us.

At four weeks DD (Diane) and Grandpa Mike made it out here to meet their new Grandson.

Next, Kimberly flew out from Ohio to meet her 6week old nephew. She generously stayed up with him for one night so I could sleep.




The very next day Ali extended her trip from Utah and flew into Portland. Not only was it so great to hang with her, but she was the savor that noticed Myles' eating problems and encouraged us to take him back the doctor. He was ultimately diagnosed with reflux and started on medication. He was a new baby after that. No more screams of pain. In this picture she is doing the "burping dance" to help relieve some of the pressure. Poor guy.



Then Connie flew out during her Spring Break. An entire week seemed to pass in a blink of an eye. We were shocked how fast the time flew because all we did was chill at the house and care for the 8 week old.


No she didn't drink the breast milk...


Our dear friends, Jessica and Lisimba were the next two visitors. They came out to coo at the 10 week old boy. Jessica was so good with him. I learned so many things from her while she was here. Myles had been smiling for a few weeks, but we caught the first one on camera as he flirted with her.


If that face doesn't say Morgan, I don't know what does!

So peaceful in the pros' arms.

The fun didn't stop there. Soon Mike rolled out for a visit. He took this opportunity to fulfill a promise to make it up to Sequim. So Myles went on his first official road trip! It went well... for the most part, minus the crying on the way up, and the extremely sick dog on the way home.

Nanc has always been know for her peaceful and calming home. You can see Myles picked up on the vibe right away.

After Mike left, my Dad flew in to meet his 3 month old grandson. It was an important trip as Myles was officially welcomed into the Swiss family with a Fondu dinner (he enjoyed the cheese a few hours later via breast milk), and he received a Swiss Flag and other garb. Dad was a great sport, he slid right into our weekly routine of Story time, Gymboree class, going to the Dog park, and hanging with Myles' best bud Wade.

Last but not least, Christie and Amiee came out during Mother's day weekend. You can read a previous post about their time here. In a nutshell, it was FABULOUS to have them here.



We are so thankful for all your time and money spent to visit up out on the west side. We know it's not an cheap or easy trip. So thanks for your love. And to those of you who still want to come... you're always welcome! But if not, we'll see you soon!
